1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing inhomeadvisors.com or booking any service, audit, or consultation with InHome Advisors, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our site or services.
2. Consulting Scope & Limitations
Advisory Nature: All audits, evaluations, checklist deliverables, and technology recommendations provided by InHome Advisors are strictly informational environmental usability assessments. They are not certified architectural engineering specs, structural home inspections, or clinical healthcare diagnostics.
Non-Clinical Boundaries: Client acknowledges that InHome Advisors does not provide medical treatment, hands-on personal nursing, or emergency dispatch services.
3. Scheduling, Fees & Payment Terms
Flat-Rate Assessments: Fees for on-site services (e.g., the $199 240-Point Home Usability Audit) are due at the time of booking via our integrated Stripe checkout system.
Price Adjustments: Quotes for Tier 2 custom technology implementations or minor hands-on retrofits will be provided in writing prior to service delivery.
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
Cancellations 24+ Hours in Advance: Appointments canceled 24 hours or more prior to the scheduled start time will receive a 100% full refund credited back to the original payment card via Stripe.
Late Cancellations (<24 Hours): Appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time, or instances where our consultant is unable to access the property at the agreed-upon time, will incur a 50% administrative and preparation fee. The remaining 50% will be refunded.
Rescheduling: Clients may reschedule an appointment up to 12 hours prior to the start time without penalty.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Ohio law, InHome Advisors, its members, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from physical falls, home accidents, device connectivity failures, Wi-Fi outages, or contractor performance. Total liability for any direct claims shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client to InHome Advisors for the specific consulting service rendered.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Ohio. Any legal proceedings or disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Medina County, Ohio.
